I can't help thinking of the dismissed lawsuit Ticker had over his defamation lawsuit , Telling the judge , sure he lied and defamed but it is all legal and protected because he is not a journalist and no one that watches his TV show believe what he says. The judge let that be the rule.

OK, I have all the patience I need with Jack Smith and Merrick Garland, who are very good at what they do and know much better than I do when indictments should be brought. I want them to do their jobs so well that the defense doesn't stand a chance. What I have zero patience for is breathless "The first time in history an ex-president has been indicted" coverage aiming to make these cases into more than the goddamn crimes they are. Yes, already, this is the first time an ex-president has faced such charges. That is not the fault of the prosecutors, the DOJ, or the Democrats. It is the fault of the criming bastard that got installed in the white house for four ugly years. If he had taken a massive dump on the good tablecloth, we wouldn't want the clean up staff to just stand around discussing the unprecedented nature of the turds, would we?
The shit they are trying to pull in Georgia, on the other hand, should disqualify any of them from holding public office again ever. "Prosecutors may be "woke" so we need to be able to remove them at our whim." That's some straight up fascist shit there, and we should hang it around their necks with abortion and the rest of their goddamn fascist agenda and beat them with it at the ballot box.

When I was three, we had a similar weather pattern, which is now commonly referred to as "the 64 flood" in which the whole north part of the state was washed down to the sea. Contributing to the disaster back then were destructive logging practices that haven't been happening in recent decades, but entirely absent from that scenario are the millions upon millions of acres of burn scar currently having ten or so feet of snow washed off of them.
It could be historically ugly, is what I'm trying to say. I just hope Briana manages to dig the car out and drive it to the grocery store tomorrow.

I get sow every year and have come to the notion that I prefer to mow my lawns verses snow blowing and shoving snow. Just my preference. Mother Nature doesn't seem to consider.
I am with you on the indicting of the Trump and every single insurrectionist that participated in stripping me of my vote

I have beliefs too but I reason my respect of others rights and freedoms which is not given to me from them.
Remember, Nixon was a sitting president . They made a deal for him to resign as if what crime he did , his debt to society would be simply resigning and losing his job as president. As he retreated to San Clemente (like MAR A Lago_ where he lived out his life denying crimes and telling us if the president does it, that means it is legal.
This led to Reagan escaping his crimes, GW Bush and Cheney escaping their crimes. Yet Bill Clinton having consensual sex out of wedlock as resident was the crime of the century.
Excusing those crimes absolutely led to Trump's evasions and this, "must be so careful to prosecute an ex president because it has not been done before.
We reacted after 9/11 which was not done before. Unless you don't count Pearl Harbor.
We all watched all the low level people prosecuted and convicted for the Abu Garib crimes of humanity by America which approved at the highest level. That Scooter Libby was the fall guy for Dick Cheney when Cheney ordered him to crime. As Ong as I known our justice system it has always been split. Justice for the wealthy/connected and another justice system of harsh punishment for the peons. What you describe over Trump and Jack Smith so far only tells me this justice system has become much worse in the two systems divide of crimes and punishment.
It is also evident in the way the media across the board states that the Russian invasion began in 2021. When in fact, Russia invaded and the war in Ukraine had began When Trump was busy extorting Ukraine using hostage of military aid that congress approved to Ukraine with a veto proof vote.
But even the MSNBC says the war began in 2021 and Our EX president runs out flapping his mouth that Putin would have never invaded Ukraine if he was president. It is obvious Putin needed Trump in office for his invasion of Ukraine. His undermining of NATO, his extorting a desperate Ukraine under attack for announcing lies against Biden/ The list is ling.
May have to parachute a supplies in or have helicopters deliver supplies for people stranded. Stock that pantry.
