Oh Wisconsin

Can elect a Dem governor. Can't elect a dem senator?

he was fine to be state atty Gen but not a senator?

But Ron Johnson is your choice?
Besides tax cuts for the wealthy, involved n passing on fake electors to VP Pence and telling women of less finances it is going to cost them more to now travel out of state for medical attention.
I mean what has the Johnson done for the state?
besides threatening Social Security.

Ohio chose to hire someone from out of state to fill the job of Senator.
How in the world does Walker get that kind of vote in Georgia? Even from the GOP?

If the Dems put up a Walker for me to vote for, I couldn't do it.
As it is, in my state legislature are republicans (in majority) who take to the state senate floor in all seriousness and describe "Furries" and how in the hell are the schools getting away letting theses kids do this. To the point of putting out kitty litter boxes for them to go in?
" How in the hell could our teachers do this and let it go on", he demands to know! That without any research to his Furries he condemns the teachers. He thinks that poorly of them. Teachers in the schools of his own district?

He was ready in the moment to vote to ban this and punish those who let it happen. Just another great mind of the GOP line up. They just know things and simply know what is best, gut or burning bush voices.
And these same GOP state senators now have power to decide on Abortion rights?
That they are so tough and godly they can ban CRT, pass tax cuts and ban abortion. While allowing a band aid on school mass shootings. They think they resolved it be forcing children to practice active mass shooter drills. To grow up in school in fear. Not even a tax cut has stopped this.

OK, I've been all about our state legislative race victories all day, and thinking about Michigan, I want you to imagine the whole country if HR1 had passed. We need to come up with the next assault on the pillars of their unfair electoral advantage, because with the house still iffy and Manchin and Sinema still drawing breath, HR1 isn't gonna happen any time soon.
Briana laughed really hard at "Marjorie Three Toes" and imagined her as a dinosaur.
They were having a discussion in the comments at the Field Negro about the Democrats' best presidential prospects after the current administration, and Wes Moore and Gavin Newsom were both mentioned, and I chimed in with J.B. Pritzker, and while he was fairly universally admired, the consensus seemed to be that a) he's fat and the electorate is shallow and b) he's a Jewish billionaire, which would make Republicans almost as rabid as if he were Black.
With a side of "billionaires aren't as popular amongst our party as theirs" but I was all like "Until we run money out of elections, we should not unilaterally disarm" which seemed to go over a little better. One guy who lives in Chicago said he had just voted for him and would vote for him again in other circumstances.
It would appear that Q-bert will win and thus spare us all from the horrors of the idea of her on Only Fans... Admittedly not the best of trade offs, but it's at least encouraging that she didn't win in a landslide.
And speaking of "Romney in a landslide", as someone who has lived in earthquake country for 62 years as of next month, any landslide with Romney in it would be a better landslide.
Thank you again for the podcast. It snowed. We made it to the store yesterday. The cat is disgusted.

Ornstein's probably being too clever by half, IMO.

I have rather a lot of trouble believing that the mainstream media "bought, hook line and sinker," the red wave, bogus polls, conventional wisdom etc. With some regularity, I feel like I say this isn't a failure of vision or comprehension, it's a failure of honesty.

The MSM pundit heads knew, had to know, that the red wave wasn't materializing - but they insisted, insisted, insisted it was. Insisted!

Because the MSM isn't trying to inform America. They're trying to create and propagate the narrative of America's political discussion.
