Professional Left Podcast #674

Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits -- a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.”
Hunter S. Thompson, writer

Andrea creeps me out Click

A famous man said, "Journalism is printing something somebody doesn't want printed.
All the rest is pr."

Andrea Mitchell has been like this for quite sue time.

Why it appears of late to be more pronounced has several answers.

She is a special media club card member. Perhaps het husband Fed Chair Greenspan did a great big favor for the MSNNC owners. And Andrea was given the Gold media Tree House membership card for life.

It is not that there is no news media talent that could not
replace her and bring the controversies to viewers mildly when GOP really need a both siderism.

Perhaps they feel Andrea is the old people's familiar face for that demographic ratings.

This sparks the Question, When the NAZI hyaena radio host was called back to hell by Satan.
Who took his place? did they fill his shoes?

There were massive applications for the spot to eat carcasses of other animals to sustain their lives.

The both sides delusion is getting downright annoying this week, for sure. Once you know to look for it, it's fucking everywhere. It can get somewhat depressing if you let it, but I just watched Politics Girl talk to young voters and now I feel a bit better:

Enthusiasm is almost always helpful, even when things don't seem to inspire much of it. Make that especially then.
Blaine Thurier, who use to play keybpards for the New Pornographers, said on Twitter this week: " @twittersupport How do I get rid of this blue check mark? I don't want anybody to think I'm paying for this not even for a second"
Thank you again for the podcast. Last year the neighbor caught a mountain lion on their trail cam and we kept the cat indoors at night for a while. The cat is pretty good with traffic and such, being from Richmond and all, but large predators are a bit out of his wheelhouse.

There are times I listen to some historical political words that stand the test of time.

U have little idea of why today they are too polite to find a way to expose politely the Lues propagandized by the right on vulnerable minds.

Take this Short piece of FDR. From his day,
( Youtube clip)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElYNHeL51ZU&t=7s

The do not want to get rid of Social Security, Cross their hearts and hope to die!
They don't like how it is done and have a better way to do it, but never show you what that better way is.
Like repeal and replace "ObamaCare". They voted to repeal and never once put forth a replacement. There wasn't a replacement.
Sure, they would off cuff offer up a single idea like, But insurance across state lines. Which not one other GOPer agreed with. Which my employer already purchases health care out of state for employees at plants in different states. The silver bullet without the silver.

When you hear republicans campaigning, Keep the words in you head,

When they offer anything as some sort of promise.

" They care about it all, cross their hearts nd hope to die". Why does it take so long for them to attain what they hope for and if they can't seem to die when they cross their hearts and hope to die. Whey would make me thing they could accomplish anything else?
For our media, News protected under the 1st Amendment. Cannot ask direct questions and stand and demand accountable answers without being worried of appearing partisan. If they lose the GOP from appearing as show guests, Just put up a similarity strawman and interview and answer for the straw man in their absence.
