There is this Newt Gingrich fellow who assures me , exhuming Chis Mathews and using him as a stunt man in the movie Weekend at Bernie's. is political scientifically not impossible.
The question is, Why would you?
If it was done, would GOX be the most predictable place to resurrect him. After all, they have a lot of dead buried bodies over there with lots of body parts to staple together to accomplish it.
Chris Matthews is a little like Donald Trump. Every time someone like Keith Olbermann who worked with him back in the day offers an anecdote about him being a dick behind the scenes, its not a surprise at all because we've seen him be a dick on a regular basis when the cameras are rolling. His thoroughly obnoxious interview with Senator Elizabeth Warren from shortly before he lost his job at MSNBC is a great example. The years of interviews with presidential candidates where he refused to let them get a word in edgewise is another.
But Chris Matthews is thoroughly in the cozy beltway media club that's for sure. This guy's been in the club for so long, you can see him sitting there in the McLaughlin Group panel in the movie Dave which filmed 30 years ago. So even though he lost his main gig, I guess he'll be around offering his out-of-touch ivory tower nonsense on a regular basis just like Tom Brokaw. Hell, if he was suddenly inspired to rag on the Democrats and fight against upper class tax increases on a regular basis, Keith Olbermann would be back on MSNBC tomorrow.
