Happy birthday. I turn 62 in December, should I manage to make it that long.
I probably will, as things seem to be working fairly well for once.
I have a question that seems to me to be relevant right about now: Is Elon Musk better than Donald Trump? Will he exhibit a learning curve as he deals with each issue thrown at him as the owner of Twitter, and come to understand why things at Twitter are like they are in terms of making the site functional and profitable, or will he try to use it as an extension of his narcissism and blow the place up?
My guess is that since it's all his money now, he won't do too much that impacts his bottom line, especially as it might impact his other companies, which are not privately held and thus have boards and shareholders to answer to.
We mailed in our ballots last week, but still keep getting campaign mailers, making me wonder whether candidates have access to voter records. If they did, they could save money and dead trees by not mailing stuff to folks who have already voted. But they would probably find ways to abuse such information, so maybe it's better that they don't.
Thank you again for the podcast. I haven't managed to listen to NFRS yet, but I will, perhaps tomorrow.
