But we WANNA hear about Hunter's laptop!
Or at least new info about the laptop.
For example, what did you and Bluegal mean 'It doesn't exist.'?

April 1 2044, People's Protectorate of America:

Their safe-house compromised by a glitch in an ID-chip implant, America's last surviving family of Covid carriers were captured & desanguinated by a manic crowd of Boosterholics, their blood a treasured black-market commodity for its unique & now-exotic antigens.

In Richmond we had a big patch of milkweed in the back yard and the Monarchs used to stop through, but out here in the boonies the only butterflies we seem to get are of the small purple variety.
And speaking of the boonies, we're about as rural as Democrats get and the goddamn NYT never seems to send anyone out to ask our thoughts on anything at all. Perhaps they don't think anywhere in California can really be rural and all of our neighbors must have secret stashes of lattes and surfboards or some such horse shit. Perhaps we should start a diner or something.
This abortion bullshit has gotten out of hand. The first mention of abortion in the literature (according to Google) was in 1550 BC and pretty much nobody gave a rat's ass about it before the right decided to turn it into a fucking wedge issue: "They're killing babies!" No. They're not. But you know who is killing actual babies? The goddamn Republicans in red states who still won't expand Medicaid and thus have the highest maternal mortality rates in the developed world, that's who.
I hear you on the breathless "Did you hear what Mitch McConnell did today?" emails I keep getting over and over. I understand that they have to raise money somehow, but I keep wanting to respond to one of them with "Did that surprise you at all? Because if so I seriously don't need your take on the story."
Thank you again for the podcast. Briana has gone down to the East Bay to take care of some much needed business, so it's just me and the cat holding down our part of the fort. And the ants. Always the damn ants. I'd almost admire them if they weren't such a pain in the ass.
