More Advice From "Stopping Making Me Hit You!" Conservative Pundit Land

A fresh dispatch from the former spokesmodel for the leader of the Superpatriot Sniveling Badass Snowflake "Fuck Your Feelings!" Pearl-Clutching He-Man Whiny-Ass-Titty-Baby American Fascist Party of Personal Responsibility reminds us that it is always someone else's fault that Republicans elects racists, lunatics and con men and has nothing to do with [checks notes] the trajectory the GOP has been on for +40 years.

From The Hill:

Stephanie Grisham: When you ‘call Republicans’ names ‘they double down and vote for radicals’

“The more we call people idiots — even when they’re saying these idiotic things — the more the right closes ranks, and they double down, and they will come out voting,” the Trump press secretary-turned-critic said during a Tuesday guest co-hosting stint on “The View.”

Just in case you think this is an outlier, remember that this lines up exactly with the "But...but...but you made us racist!" codswallop that our "allies" over at The Bulwark are constantly troweling out

But you know what's weird?

The fact that, for literally decades, the basic Republican vocabulary vomiting out of AM Hate Radio, Fox News, Conservative websites and most political campaigns has consisted of relentlessly calling me and my fellow Democrats dirty, commie, terrorist-loving, pedo, FemiNazi, baby-killing monsters.

And yet by and large, Democrats have gone right on nominating and electing calm, even-tempered moderates who keep trying to appeal to the better angels of the GOP's nature.   Which, as a strategy, obviously hasn't worked because the GOP is, right now, a bigger reeking shitpile of bigots and imbeciles and greater threat to democracy than this country has faced since the Civil War.

And yet, the former press secretary to Il Douche, who never held a single press briefing and who is now out pimping her "You'll Never Guess What I Saw When I Was Queen Of The Shitpile" tell-all book sez:

“I agree it’s taking down our country, but we can’t call Republicans these names,” said Grisham, who served as the Trump administration’s mouthpiece before exiting the White House following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol.

“We can’t keep attacking people,” said Grisham on the ABC daytime show. “They double down and vote for the radicals.”

In the end, Grisham amounts to nothing more that a cheap gangster's former moll, back on the street again and trolling for her next meal ticket.
