The thing about the defund the police dustup is that it is just another symptom of the post policy Republican party. It doesn't matter what the policy is or whether it is needed or by whom, what matters is whether we can move poll numbers by attacking it in the media as evil.
My brother once said that the problem with government was that there were all of those people up there making laws five days a week, and there were already too damn many laws to begin with.

Thank you again for the podcast. It snowed again a little last night, after yesterday was the first day in months when I could make it to the car without spikes on my shoes. These are some reasons why I appreciate the good old rattle snake handling preachers that traveled spreading their sermons. At least now and then you could be actually entertained by the rattle snake getting frisky and striking his deadly bite.
