Sadly, 60 Senate Votes Could Not Be Found...

...to protect Kyrsten Sinema from being fired into the sun.

Of course firing someone into the Sun is a terrible and drastic thing, but in the end the sanctity of the Jim Crow-era tradition of the senate filibuster was obviously more important.

The filibuster is much older and more insidious than Jim Crow. It dates back to the days of Andrew "Why the ever-loving FUCK is that genocidal maniac still on my $20" Jackson.

It took 60 votes to pass the ACA. It took a simple GOP majority under McConnell to repeal (with no replacement) and it failed.

If it now takes a mere 51 votes to confirm a Supreme court justice. Then it should only take a simple 51 votes to remove Gorsuch, Kavanagh or Korney Barret. Or any federalist Society outsource judge.
