From Fox News:
Cheney, Rumsfeld join former defense secretaries warning against using military in election disputes
Ten former U.S. defense secretaries, including Donald Rumsfeld and former Vice President Dick Cheney, penned an op-ed in the Washington Post warning against the use of the military to resolve disputes over November's presidential election...
So as I understand the new rules under which we operate, Cheney and Rummy are now both resistance hero now and fuck anyone who says otherwise because the unrepentant blood-drunk war criminal of my enemy is my friend.
Or something.

Or more evidence that it's one big club and we ain't in it
Unless they know a guy who knows where you can buy a polonium umbrella, and the are war criminals, so not totally out of the question, it's just hot air. The prefix code is Joe Biden putting his hand on the Bible. Cy Vance is phasers locked. But, sure, go right on quoting regulations. Actually, it's a lot more like "Dick, you're FIRED!" and then Directive 4 vanishes. Either works.
There are known knowns and known unknowns, but we also have the unknown unknowns. These are located to the northwest and the east and also somewhat south of Uranus. Not an exact quote-I could have looked it up but-fuck these guys~~~
Cheney says troops not needed, just nuke the states you want gone.
Rumsfeld thinks you use the military you inherited and go with it and not the Russian army you want or would like to have.
You know, 007 took care of the five Goldfinger vulgarian.
