Bill Kristol agrees and thinks that "...assuming that we have a President Biden and he really does want to pass legislation" Republican control of the Senate could lead to "positive repercussions".

They cannot stop being who they are, which is why your new Never Trump allies very much need everyone to pretend that all events prior to 2016 are off-limits and unknowable.
Because they will never stop believing that the GOP's "good old days" were back when all had jobs pandering to Republican brownshirts and cheering on their Party as it systematically slandered and kneecapped Barack Obama and robbed him of a Supreme Court seat. The very same Republican brownshirts and the very same Party which carried Trump to victory in 2016 remain dog-loyal to him to this very day.

A McConnell majority Senate with a House Pelosi Majority and a Biden White House has the ingrediency of interesting confrontations of the all powerful "Q".
The McConnell majority lived in the unitary president is a king. Cannot be indicted and cannot be impeached. Even if the SCOTUS orders Trump to adhere. He doesn't have to becajse there is nothing you can do except impeach. And Impeaching would have to originate in the House.
So as the GOP senate may clamor for accountability and want to subpoena people to scrutinize and oversight. Biden doesn't have to. He can just order his folks to ignore the senate demands. A good lesson the Senate should learn after teaching it to the House for 4 years.
Again, If Biden disregards the SCOTUS right wing enforcing rulings of why McConnel packed the court in the first place. The house would have to impeach and they can just say no like the Senate did. A lesson that will anger GOP senate but teach them little.
The GGP legalized braid ranges of presidential Executive orders and pardon powers . The Unity Biden President can declare war on Christmas to make republican children sad for Santa and cry.
Will the resposible democrats react to the mindless Butt linked GOP obstructionist , "only GOP can lefislate, Govern in this country mentality.
