The New York Times wrote a very nice article about how this newfangled medium of "podcasting" is rising to meet the moment.
And Lordy, they're doing it from home!
Broadcasting From Closets at Home, Daily Podcasts Come of AgeOne thing did bother me though. All the podcasts they covered are from all the usual suspects -- Slate, Vox, NPR, etc. -- and are all recorded in either New York or Los Angeles. Now based on listening to a couple of them, they're fine podcasts and a welcome addition to the medium, but it does bug the hell out of me that, other than that spate of anthropological expedition "Trump Supporters In Colorful Local Diners" stories that were all the rage over the past few years, once again the coastal media has conspicuously overlooked that wide swath of the country called "Everything West of the Hudson and East of L.A."
As the pandemic sequesters millions at home, an emerging category of intimate news programs offers a comforting voice.
So I thought I'd take it upon myself to stick up for the sticks and share with you photographic evidence of our little podcast that has been coming to you advertiser-free from a closet located in "the middle of Middle America" every Friday for the past 10 years.
And once again, thank you for all your support, kind words and the occasional kick in the ass over the past decade.

We're your neighbors in Indiana, and have a little podcast of our own.
We'd love to have you and Bluegal come on and talk right wing chuddery, maybe play a few silly games and goof around.

I hear Sec. of Treasury has announced that people like you can podcast from a public restroom.
But in coordination with Jerry Falwell Jr and Trump, it must be the natural sex restroom appropriate to the pod caster
Very guest rich and friendly podcasting real-estate.. Jared concurs.
Love this pic. Exactly as I imagined it.
This is exactly what I pictured. What does Bluegal's space look like?
