As hopes dim for a David French presidency --
Meet David French: the random dude off the street that Bill Kristol decided will save America from Trump-- the wrongest man in American politics has now turned his non-existent electoral skills and his enduring and wildly outsized presence in the Beltway media (the MSNBC gang makes it a point to pimp his wretched podcast every time he draws up a chair) to the task of telling us Democrats how to run our party.

National #NeverTrump leader Bill Kristol, founder of the conservative Weekly Standard magazine, confirmed to NHJournal that he is part of the effort, which involves tens of thousands of New Hampshire voter contacts and a six-figure budget.
“Yup. I’m happy to have joined with some others to help remind New Hampshire independents, who might be accustomed to voting in the Republican primary, that this year, they may be able to make more of a difference by voting for a responsible and electable candidate in the Democratic primary,” Kristol said.
You might dimly recall that Kristol spent his adult life helping to engineer the Republican Hate Machine to such a high degree of efficiency that it eventually shit him out like a wad of Bazooka Joe that Rush Limbaugh accidentally swallowed while visiting Oxy Town in 2003. So, like any other orphaned parasitic organism which can only survive in a very specialized environment, Kristol has come to the Democratic Party looking for another host.
Of course he promises that his motives are entirely benign:

Kristol believes that moderate Republican voters will appreciate having a choice in November, and that the first step is to keep alternatives to Sen. Bernie Sanders viable after New Hampshire votes.-- they are not:

Hell, I was phone-banking for Betsy Dirksen-Londrigan just last week and there were only three of us in this big 'ol barn of a room.

He was paid well to zombify weak minded GOP base voters. To make their hate hungry for punds of flesh. He accomplished the belief that fellow Americans are something more than an enemy that Putin or Little Rocket man that now sends beautiful love letters to the republican dictator. Today's Jim Jones of the GOP( as was yesterdays) which Billy helped parent. Now they those hordes hunger for his flesh and he finds survival difficult alone.
Now he looks to socialize his safety and place in being relevant other than a piece of flesh to feed his hordes.
GOPers like Billy who were deep in the Authoritarian GOP state and lost their soul. Now wander aimlessly telling people what his enemy , (democrats), should do and how to act. Who to vote for and who is viable against his Created Dear leader who is so drunk on his power no longer has a use for Billy.
I 2nd your motion that Billy should move in to Kentucky and thrust himself on the Trumpers for McConnell. Which would make more of a difference.
The problem with Bloody B. is he is unwanted by his own and not at all trusted nor has any advice Dems would find useful.
It is where you end up in the GOP ideology.
Take Rushbo who announces his illness in hopes of acquiring some of that social (socialist) empathy. He never found useful before. Does Tush's mortality alter his world view of selfishness? I know his Medal of Freedom he purchased under the table at Mar A Lago cannot go with him where he is going. If you believe in such things.
Bloody Bill cannot even get an Emmy for all his life time attempts at acting out.
Perhaps Romney now, may find his fall from the intolerant religious right wing he has chosen to do bidding for in exchange for votes. are finding what they do to others, is now being done to them, by their own cannibal ideology.
