I think my favorite thing I saw on Twitter this week was "Imagine being Russia and wanting to buy a Democrat but only being able to afford Tulsi Gabbard."
I feel like we are living through another Newt Gingrich in the early nineties time, where the things being done by the monsters can't really be undone and are being done for that specific reason.
Part of me sees that as the thing I was most afraid of when Fergus was *elected*, and now part of me sees that as a challenge and an opportunity.
Kinda like the nihilists squawking about tearing it all down so we can start over and voting for Fergus or Stein, who I tried to convince were out of their minds at the time...
Well they got their wish, and now we should not fail to use the awful, awful situation they've put us in as the once only chance it is to rebuild things better than they were when they allowed this shit to go down.
That may be kinda vague, but you know who isn't kinda vague? Elizabeth Warren, that's who, and now that Bloomberg is throwing thirty million dollars at the primary as an opening bid, perhaps he can siphon off just enough Biden voters to get Ms. Warren nominated, which would have the greatly amusing side effect of publicly incinerating Mikey's duck at his own expense.
Anyway, thank you again for the podcast, and so sorry to hear about your mom, and I hope you have a good holiday. I will be spending Thanksgiving moving out of this house before the Sheriffs show up.
