Breaking: Dog Dies, Film at 11!

This is the above-the-fold front page story in the skeletal remains of our local newspaper today.

This same story has been all over our local Sinclair affiliate as well.

Because apparently there is no actual news to report.

Standing on the porch reading this, I could almost hear the distant roar of the New York Times Zeitgeist Action News Team rolling into town to ask the dog's owners if the dog -- Isis -- had ever expressed strong feelings in support of Donald Trump.

No, I Won't Be Going To Politicon!

It appears that the Magical invisible hand of the republican frely controlled market is providing republicans that market choice.

Between FOX or Sinclair. Putin or Kim Jong (um?) Ill.

Sort of warms you whole body up in the mornin' like that Jimmy Dean sausage. As you wait impatiently for that health care replacement. the republicans feel each American should have. Except themselves.

You can see, if they were rewriting constitutional Amendments. That paper would look pretty thick and dense with information in comparison.

Sort of makes it a hard decision to support your local paper when it comes to this.

My question is, does it create an opening for competition that an ambitious Horace Greely might open up his own paper with his first big story on Liberty Valance?
Or a modern day Thomas Paine printing out news bite flyers?
