Two corrections regarding the USS John S. McCain:
1. It's a ship, not a boat (the only naval vessels referred to as "boats" are submarines).
2. It's a cruiser, not an aircraft carrier.

The McCain is a destroyer. It is an Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer (designated as a DDG). Sailors often refer to their ships as a boat but I probably wouldn't extend that courtesy to landlubbers.

Dean Baquet is stumbling over the plain fact that reality has a well known liberal bias, and if his reporters serve the truth, they will appear partisan to the Pig People, like that lady who was flabbergasted that the Mueller report said anything bad about Fergus, but still supported and planned on voting for the rat bastard again.

It's that last part that stuck with me; I already knew that none of the Republican base had read the report, because why would they? It's the continued unwavering support in the face of evidence that Fergus is actually Fergus that tells me everything I need to know about them.

We have to contain them politically or our country is dead.

Luckily, there are enough of us to pull that off, as demonstrated last year.

It will, though, be harder than last year, as they are ramping up the cheating past eleven, and there are a certain amount of them who won't respond to anything less than a landslide, and maybe not even then.

So we have a hard fight on our hands, but really, when did we ever not?

Thank you again for the podcast, my housemates showed me pictures from the Warren event on the soccer field last night, and you would have needed a giant shoe horn to get any more people in there.

P.S. Hey Dean, you know how newspapers are all dying here? Maybe ask the folks on your side of the paywall how many of them got there because they saw one of your reporters on Rachel's show.

Although I served in a military branch other than the Navy. I know well many sea goers..

There is a pride of the ship you serve. It is a utility that promotes excellence in service, team effort all needed to carryout your mission and NOT end up as shark snacks as your ship sinks.

The sailors on the McCain are going to endure a flogging from the rest of the Navy over this. That they hid their head and ship in shame. It does ping the morale of the ship.
Thanks Donald.

Whatever happened to the traveling circus salesman that said he loves the military?

For the record, I asked my House Republican rep. (who had his intimate moment with the Donald at the ACA repeal beer kegger party with Squee and kvanaugh).
To drop in over at the W.H. and clue-in the Stable Genius that the USS McCain was not named after Senator McCain.
But Donald may hate the entire family and in that case, might end up executing Megan McCain like his N. Korean lover acts strongly providing leadership by executing his family.

hearsay is,
the religious right want a Navy ship named after Jesus. Trump may name a couple as the USS Stormy Daniels, The USS Thank You Putin and the USS No Collusion.
