Don't you think he's graduated to modafinil? That's what they give the pilots and such these days. Its very strong and I bet that when evil people take it by the handful it bends their minds all over the place just like any stimulant.
I truly believe he is on stimulants. Every aspect of his personality is classic stimulant reflex. Paranoia, distrust, constant anger (from the affront of being criticized when you are always, always hyper vigilant because you are on speed) distractibility, defensiveness, roving mind, but mostly just endlessly living in a wildly enraged state, staring at the tv for more drama, lashing out at critics with no sense or care about consequences, and utterly terrified they will be found out to be the frightened, empty, drug addicts, they are.
I think the most marked behavior is identical to something you will see on the streets when a meth user has gone around the bend. They can literally be caught stealing merchandise, walking out of a store, and they will unleash rage at whoever catches them, replete, within minutes, with a full fledged story line that excuses their behavior and blames everyone else. Even while they are standing there, holding the stolen panty hose or whatever. A total, complete, change of subject. Fabulists. The police, welfare hospitals, shelters, etc. run into this routinely, daily.
To me, this is the exact definition of the behavior of the tyrant.
Would like to point out a Peeve.
The blatant GOP battle cry, " You are with us or against us".
This has not gone away. There are historical examples to reference how the purification process of human beings resulted.
The GOP itself, has PURGED itself of independent thought ability. There are no Lincoln republicans who are now liberal socialist evil ones.
The purging of Mexicans, Brown people sympathizers will eventually fade either successful or not. If successful, another group of people will be necessary to carry on with their imagined Crusade.
Even the so called GOP immaculate conception TEA Potters purged their fiscal conservative unbreakable position. It is gone.
There are NO republicans I know, I will give the pass of not being fascist, TEA potter, QANON, White Supremacist . The GOP acts out of 2 things. Their big donors and the GOP primary voting base. For obvious reasons and it has nothing to do with representing people.
As if there is some difference between the primary GOP voting base and the General election GOP voter.
* they let the base choose their candidates.
* they vote for those primary victors.
* they do not or cannot hold or try to hold any of them accountable for anything, (except- not being QANON enough).
Every commentator differentiates between a GOP primary voter and the GOP general voter as, primary voters are radical and extreme while the General GOP voter is some sort of magical bi partisan responsible republican from a mythical fiction book written by God.
I do not let my GOP representatives skate from their constituency and tell them they are either "with white supremacy , QANON, Putin or they are against it".
The same goes for people I know that are republicans.
If you notice, All Democrats are liberals, extreme leftists, socialists. You know the long list of Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails.
If that is the GOP's truth, I now apply it to them.
In other words, Republicans are all the same. They shot a Doctor they hated in his place of worship. The GOP entirely is the same people as the recent Pipe bomber, the military navy terrorist with his plan to mass shoot his leftist enemies. They are the ones that shot House Representative Gabby Giffords in the head (while killing with collateral damage acceptance), because she was a Democratically elected representative.
Trump has taken all of this out of the closet.
McConnell and McCarthy are putting full effort into pulling the curtain to hide it.
In my assessment, The wealthy GOP donors need these Jim Jones vulnerable people. They are a vote resource to hold their wealthy authority. These folks are instructed in their private elite wealthy only schools from childhood. "Never forget how FDR and Theodore Roosevelt imposed the constitution for we the people.
It is why they purchased Citizens United ruling. Taking health insurance away keeps the chattel in disarray and that is needed to hold their wealth power and rule.
