As I'm sure you must have noticed by now, the bigots and imbeciles of the Republican party never change their mind and they never change the subject.
But every couple of years, they're forced to change their graphics when Party leaders designate new villains for them to hate. (Caution: Links lead to racist cartoons.)

Slightly off topic, but driftglass, you brought it up first: Even the negative coverage of the "First Ladies" cartoon only labelled the Michelle caricature as a "muscular brute" when in fact Garrison was portraying her as a man in a dress (note the bulge at the crotch), a common trope at the time.
Re "First Ladies" cartoon:
I duly noted that some commenters to the Garrison cartoon said that it wasn't racist, but "merely" was commenting on female "beauty."
Duly noted also that "muscular brute" Michelle Obama with a crotch bulge looks (facially) more like Michelle than the dainty "beauty queen" looks like Melania.
Vis the crotch bulge - there was long a meme going around that the rightwingnutjobs loved to natter on about how Michelle was actually a man in drag. Someone photoshopped Michelle wearing a dress similar to the one in cartoon with a crotch bulge.
Like being a homosexual is a huge giant slur etc.
So while the cartoon isn't exactly racist, it is very sexist, misogynistic and homophobic, plus it very inaccurately depicts what Melania looks like fwiw.
But pardon ME for being, you know, so UNCIVIL to point this out.
