What the lying fake right wing news won't tell you and let you decide.

Senator Joni Ernst discards the sanctity of marriage..!

Local Iowas news..

Senator Joni Ernst goes to court for divorce.

Joni asks for divorce. Accuses her husband (Gail Ernst) of having an affair with their daughter's baby sitter, found email from a female on his computer.

Her husband )Gail) accuses Joni of having an affair with someone in the military and Joni admitted it, to him.

Joni volleyed that her husband of 22 years was verbally and physically abusive during the entire marriage.

-Gail Ernst snapped back that Joni changed for the worse after becoming political and had another affair with a political operative.

* No where did they mention God, Going to Church and their pastor rubbing Jesus on them to save their marriage. Godlessness at the root? Joni made claim that Gail told her and friends now that Joni was a U.S. Senator. That is his retirement plan.
This all out of court filings....

Joni couldn't stop there.
-She gave interview and talked about how she is in GOP leadership. That she was "In Combat" stationed in Kuwait on a large US air base with plenty of security. (A Veteran myself, she was in theater but not in combat). Not taking away from her service. Just bringing it back from the inflated heroics.

Joni needed to hit the publicity drive-thru for the sympathy card.

Joni sets up a speech at Iowas university to announce the burning inner secrets she has been burdened al her life with. Because everyone must feel sorry for her.
Seems she confessed to dating a guy in college who was very abusive physically to her. She dated another guy who raped her. You know what, she said she did not report it out of shame and embarrassment. Lived with this ever since and how she has always been loud and pointed as senator over this sort of abuse.
pretty thick republican syrup.......

Since, Senator Joni could not use those super power senses from her life experiences with sex abuse. cover up by her republican colleagues over Bret Kavanaugh.
She stood by with the expenditure to hire a contractor to question Ms. Ford.
Not allow time and scrutiny of witnesses. To absolutely dismiss Christine Blasey Ford. And others.

Joni displayed her inability to empathize and use her Senator power of a vote to oppose such abuse. She rewards that abusive culture to garner party political clout while dismissing women as Ms Ford everywhere.

Can't say Joni did not have these things happen to her as she states. If I follow her actions in the Senate toward others, like her Kavanaugh decision.

It is either made up stories ot by her own treatment of others. No of it matters even if it was true.

Joni confirmed Ditsy Devos who has zero public education experience or acre-min. The Confirmed Sec. of Education has been working to roll back protections for women to come forward on rape and abuse in colleges.

As Joni who claims she experienced the rape and abuse in college. and is supposedly now out spoken against this.
She sure votes to encourage more of it.

The power went out about 2/3 way through the podcast, so I'll come back and write a real comment when it comes back on and I can see what I'm doing.

OK, I'm back. I wonder how Mr. Stone's tattoo of Richard Nixon will go over in prison?
And as for the grocery store stuff, there's a bit of irony hiding in there. If you are a working poor person, it is possible to cultivate a relationship with a neighborhood business who will allow you to run a pre-payday tab that might or might not keep you and your cat fed until you get paid if you have what it takes to make meals out of what they stock. (Hi, Fred, remember me?)
You know who you absolutely can not do any such thing with?
The gas station. The fare machine on the bus or train. PG&E.
What's ridiculous about this is that even the mom-and-pop corner store isn't gonna float you a tab if they don't know you well enough to know you'll be back around to pay it. They're kind, but not stupid.
And we're talking government workers who are presumably paid well enough to do their grocery shopping at a larger, more convenient, better stocked, and healthier business, exempting them from the need to have cultivated such a relationship.
In other words, there's no reason they should have to live like poor people.
Successfully living on a poor person's resources is a skill that you can't just assume a government worker will have, nor pick up quickly or easily.
My dad was a government worker, for the US Forest Service for thirty years. He had some amazing skills where keeping himself and his folks fed in the thin times were concerned, but they mostly involved the use of his trusty model 94 Winchester, and most pointedly did not involve charity or sketchy credit.
If there is one person in Fergus' administration who understands any of that, I imagine they are parking cars or on the janitorial staff and not, as they say, in "the loop" when decisions get made.
Thank you again for the podcast, I was sick this week and it helped pull me back out of it.
