Many thanks to Batocchio who does yeoman's work every year putting together the best of the Small Blogs as chosen by the bloggers themselves.  Great, incisive, funny, touching reads await you!  A cool drink in the desert of arid internet stupid to slake your thirst.

What are you still doing here?

Do these awards make the blogo-verse into the "establishment"?

Recognition among st peers is a healthy humbling experience. So good for the deserving.

For optimism in the new year.
I find a warm soft pillow in Trump tangled up into staying at the White House even though he hasn't been potty trained to go on the news paper. Mar A Lagoon siren calls to him has to be so sad for him.

The House of Reps changing hands. I have a two pronged pitch fork. That the new management reinforces the notion of the liberal hostile takeover and what it means to the failed prior management of the House GOP.
I look forward to the House committees to revive a semblance of the roman "feed the GOP" crooks to the lions.
Overloading Mr Art of the Deal Jester with deals.
Not sure if there is any hope for the corporate news media. Who continue to book republicans (even has Repub-beens).
Asking them to give Pelosi, Democrats their advice. Because the GOP has all the answers and they are all the same. Whatever Trump wants.

How about America makes a New Years Resolution and keeps the promise.

The promise to stop trivializing elections when it comes to "Ties".

No, the tie cannot go to the runner because they contestants are all running.

---- NO more Coin tosses....! No picking a rabbit out of the hat.

Make them go the extra innings or what ever analogy you prefer.

How about the two candidates tied go on America has talent. They perform and the panel chooses the winner.
Perhaps we can put them on the survivor Island and the survivor gets the elected seat.

Their is always, American Gladiator style elimination.

There is always 20 steps, turn and fire. A duel.

I do like the tied candidates being un-tied by which one in their past has donated to charity more and or has done more actual hands on charitable service. Like, soup kitchen.
