I vividly recall how future historians were going to write books about how the historic catastrophes, crimes and criminal incompetence of the George W. Bush Administration laid waste to the Republican party, broke Fox News and destroyed the careers of Bush apologists like Bloody Bill Kristol, David Brooks, Michael Gerson, Marc Thiessen, David Frum, Jennifer Rubin and Joe Scarborough.
Future historians ain't what they used to be.

An exception to that future historians rule was a supposedly by then irrelevant Hunter Thompson who stated the following in January of pre-William-The-Bloody-Cheney-Doodling-In-The-Margins-Of-Invasiveness 2003...
