He is on to bigger, better more improved both siderisms.
When he was bought and brought to the ABC plantation. He had decent teeth and was able to speak words in English.
It would never of worked out for him as a late night comic talk show on the FOX. Their viewers have bed time curfews in the senior homes and there would be no one awake to watch him.
Well, if Dowd (twice divorced) is a conservative who truly loves his country, he needs to get married a third time. Perhaps to an assistant, a mistress, or just a general newer trophy/gold-digger (see Gingrich, tRump, DF Brooks, Guliani, etc, etc).
Sadly, he's currently dating an older Democrat, Maria Shriver (yep, Arnold's ex), but perhaps Newt will put his arm around him and enlighten him as to true Conservative Morals.

Although I generally like your stuff Driftie, I think you are being very unfair to aspiring lickspittles, sycophants, brown-nosers and suck-ups, particularly those of the Fourth Estate. They are just trying to make their way in a hard world where they must be ever attentive to the changeable whims and fancies of The Big Money Guys.
Things have only been made more stressful and uncertain for them by the "election" of the Cheez-Whiz Ceausescu Toddler-in-Chief.
Have pity. Dowd admits in his bio that he is an "Independent" [which we cognoscenti know is code for "a Republican with a sense of shame"]. We're not talking about honesty, integrity, logical reasoning, facts or that stuff here, for God's sake! We're talking about survival! Well, that and drafting the necessary post-indictment article on why "nobody could see it coming".
And have patience. Trump's own post-presidential San Clemente "retirement" is also coming at Butner Federal Prison in the cell next to Bernie Madoff.
