This whole Trump-NFL-I-HATE-Blah-Sportsballers-Who-Don't-Know-Their-Place schtick is just distraction from the utterly crap-shite "jawb" that TrumpCo is "doing" in/to PR. I mean, now there's cholera there - no surprises for that happening. Yet TrumpCo and his worthless LIARS in the "media" keep touting what a "great jawb" they are doing in/to PR and how everything is peachy-keen blah blah...
But it's NOT. It's a frickin' nightmare clusterfeck there. Those brown-skinned American citizens are royally screwed and probably will be forever.
But what better way to distract his racist bigoted Nazi Droogie base away from the horrible "jawb" Trump is doing in PR than to whine vetch and bitch about blah sportsballers who won't shuck 'n jive for "da Man."
Bleah. Everything - absolutely everything - about 45 sucks x 1Squintillion. Loathing doesn't begin to cover it.
I serrved for quite some time. Before any "hide and seek" policies. Before "don't ask/ don't tell.
Gay and Lez were in there serving with closet space only. When you serve tours of duty, long training times, etc.. For the most I (like many others) were aware of the Gay and Lez in our midst. There were some that had to get over it. For the most at the time, we were more concerned with carrying out orders, fighting and surviving the day.
It did not cross my mind when a gay unit member was on point and I was to cover him. From what I can tell, it was the same way when I was on point and being covered.
It isn't SEx, or race that I ever had concerns about in combat or otherwise.
It was their fighting ability to rely on. I had more concerns with folks that began "living" the idea of meeting their maker and desiring it. Not much self preservation of living to fight another day in that bubble.
To this day, I do not get it?
Is it that home schooling where sex with your sister on recess in the kitchen is normal.
With that said,
peace time is quiet and routine in many ways like most other jobs in some degrees.

Let me put it this way,
I would rather a gay or Lez covering me on point than the four Deferment Vietnam war hero. Who's dementia does not allow him to recall the the extreme medical condition of a bone spur in "which foot".

Only republicans who never serve and find themselves in actual reliance of others in fight and survive situations and have some elite thought of God and themselves think that the color of your skin, if you gay or Lez. That the finger on your hand cannot pull the trigger on your weapons.

Trump first blamed the Dems for turning the Mayor of San Juan against him. The latest blame game is that it is the Mayor of San Juan not doing her job and those lazy and sorry Puerto Ricans not getting out of the water flooding their country and helping themselves. Uh huh.
