For the record, the creative typists who assembled the words in the column did find two Republicans who were mildly uncomfortable with the idea of a mob of vandals killing the ACA in the dark.

But then they torpedo the whole premise of their own column with this:

Until I hear a more plausible explanation, I will continue to stick to my longstanding theory that to land almost any Big Time gig in mainstream journalism you must consent to let your employer implant you with a Suicide Squad detonator that will explode if you ever stop automatically "Both Sidering" every Republican atrocity.

Watch out for Yertle. Despite his doofy dorky looks, he's a pretty sleazy scumbag who pushes through the worst stuff.
That quote is a joke. Sure there were lots of hearings to repeal ACA, but they amounted to abso-effen-lutely Zip, Zero, Nada, Bupkiss in terms of offering a replacement. It was all and only: REPEAL!!1!
Fact: the Rs had a big fat nothingburger to offer as a replacement for ACA, and they did nothing about it during the election because they, too, thought DJT would lose. Instead, they were caught flat-footed when their man-baby "won."
As with the House, the Senate wants to do everything behind closed doors, so no one knows what a horrible, despicable sausage bill they are creating. You can rest assured that We, The People (aka, the peons), are about to as royally screwed over by the Senate as by the House.
I hope all those hillbillies and trailer trash will be satisfied with nothing because that's what they're going to get. Of course, they seem satisfied just knowing that they beat the libtards. Guess that's enough for them.
More's the pity for the rest of us.

It would take more than a tiny bomb, as Halperin's cranium is pretty much solid bone, and if his brains were C4 he wouldn't have enough to blow his nose.
