The Wingnut Welfare Trough Is As Deep As It Is Wide

Sinclair Broadcasting steps right up to prove once again that there is no limit to the financial bounty awaiting anyone -- no matter how wretched or nakedly dishonest or morally repulsive -- who sides with Team Evil... (from CNN):

Ex-Trump spokesperson joins Sinclair Broadcasting

Boris Epshteyn, the combative former White House spokesperson, has joined the conservative local news operator Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

Sinclair announced Monday that it had named Epshteyn "chief political analyst." In that role he will be appearing across the 173 television stations Sinclair owns, operates or provides services for across the country.

"Over a year ago, we made a commitment to provide additional political content that goes beyond the podium to provide a true point of difference with additional context," Scott Livingston, Sinclair's vice president of news, said in a statement. "We understand the frustration with government and traditional institutions. Mr. Epshteyn brings a unique perspective to the political conversation and will play a pivotal role in our mission to dissect the stories in the headlines and to better inform and empower our viewers."...
Sinclair's purpose on this Earth is is to make sure that a river of toxic conspiratorial sludge flows unimpeded into the skulls of Republican meatheads from sea to shining sea.

Which means that for filth like Mr. Epshteyn, there is always money in the wingnut banana stand.

Remember back 1,000 years ago when ABC News executive producer Jonathan Greenberger told the whole world that he had hired Bloody Bill Kristol -- the Wrongest Man in America --  because Kristol is a "brilliant, original thinker"?

The people who run the media have such open contempt for us that they don't even bother to lie to us competently.

I seem to remember Comrade Boris is another "person of interest" in the ever-widening Trump-Russia scandals. The only Sinclair I had ever heard of previously was the small oil company with its "Dino" the dinosaur mascot. Did not know this network existed probably because its stations are mainly in the South and Midwest (kind of a "tell" right there).

I think it is not just the contempt for liberals alone. Which it is.

As Morning Joey blathered out some time ago. Doing it live. As he stated,
"the republican party is a money racket/ scheme".
Not that Joey was disgusted, more amazed and envious.

Anyone ever hear about Hew Hewitt's ratings as an MSNBC special conservative nut job "Ex plainer Extraordinaire"?

Did FOX lose viewers to MSNBC from the slots where Megan and Greta played on FOX? Did these 2 bring there ratings/viewers with them? I don't see how a "FOX faithful" is going to tune in to MSNBC to watch them. But a known quantity they are (to FOX).

The print news has its difficulties. In my local paper / Op Ed section over the years at about a 10 to 1 ratio. The Coulter, BillO, Brooks, Krauthammer, Jonah Goldbergs, Grover Norquist, Tom Freidmans, Kristol. Over and over. No matter how ridiculous, repetitive, incoherent, sprinkled with rose petals of the funeral procession is.
They are cycled in for some sort of debt payoff and providing a standard of living.
It is like the republican party's primary debates.
They are never speaking to the voters. They are being interviewed by the donor class in front of us.
Besides AM Joy. Can you see 2 libs (moderates) and a single GOPER?

It is all become the FOX outnumbered reality show.

I doubt he'll have crosstalk issues at Sinclair. If you judge a person by his spox, the talking Yam is the lowest of the low.

Can you invoke Rocky and Bullwinkle any more than this.

"Boris". Is his girlfriend's name "Natasha"?
Another Russian connection because Boris here was a Trump campaign surrogate during the campaign.
Is he here working for Trump on a work visa? One of those H-1-b KGB-FSB work visa that Donald had Manafort bring in as an essential Russian skill Americans could not provide?

Moose and Squirrel go boom...!

To Jimbo:

Boris is believed to be one of the major sources for the Steele dossier on Donald Trump. So yeah, I'd say he's a person of interest to the FBI.
