Stupid Shit Andrew Sullivan Says: Mr. Sullivan Lines Up His Next "Real Time" Gig

Sometime the shrill whinging of America's most famous Gay Catholic Conservative Drama Queen is best served unadorned:
I’ve done what I could in this space to avoid the subject of Hillary Clinton. I don’t want to be the perennial turd in the punchbowl. I’d hoped we’d finally seen the last of that name in public life — it’s been a long quarter of a century — and that we could all move on. Alas, no. Her daughter (angels and ministers of grace defend us) seems to be positioning herself for a political career. And Clinton herself duly emerged last week for a fawning, rapturous reception at the Women in the World conference in New York City.
...

“But … but … but …” her deluded fans insist, “she won the popular vote!” But that’s precisely my point. Any candidate who can win the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes and still manage to lose the Electoral College by 304 to 227 is so profoundly incompetent, so miserably useless as a politician, she should be drummed out of the party under a welter of derision...
The question of why anyone, anywhere is paying this pissy little fop to write anything is no longer terribly high on my list.

After all, in a media environment so utterly corrupt that a meathead like Joe Scarborough has his own three-hour show, Bill Kristol collects a paycheck from ABC and MSNBC as a respected foreign policy analyst, and a clownagerie (tm driftglass) that includes freaks like Jeffrey Lord-Have-Mercy, Hugh Hewitt, Charlie Sykes an Joe "Deadbeat" Walsh all have reserved seating at the nation's media table, it is not hard to believe that one of Mr. Sullivan's cronies at New York Magazine would make sure he had a cozy place at the wingnut welfare trough.

A place wide enough so that Mr. Sullivan could take out his fury at being passed over for the Greatest Wingnut Welfare Prize Of All --
The New York Times hired Wall Street Journal deputy editor Bret Stephens as its newest opinion columnist, claiming he “will bring a new perspective to bear on the news.” Stephens has a long history of promoting misinformation, including on climate science, foreign policy, and sexual assault.
-- by publicly beating up on an old lady and her daughter.

As I said, after over a decade of documenting his drivel, Mr. Sullivan is no longer terribly high on my list.

But he's still on it.

Oh yes he is.

Alright, enough of that.

We all know that Mr. Sullivan got himself into a lot of sex/hypocrisy trouble years ago.

But now we are moving on.

Our Wonderful Newsmedia must just really, really want another Clinton so that if they get bored at any point in the next few decades, they can wheel her out of the closet and kick her in the ribs for a while. I can think of no other explanation as to where this "The fact that no one's heard from Chelsea in years means she's totally running for Congress" shit comes from.

So some schmuck somewhere speculates that Chelsea may be considering running for office, and she subsequently denies it. That's a column right there! Because she is, you know, a Clinton, and therefore lying. He's been here a long time and still does not understand American politics at all.

WTF do they know of generational public service?
Or any service, for that matter.

Im guessing the Bush family are good to go.

And HughFuckingHewitt- is he an android?

'is' dammit, 'is good to go'. Dammit.

Speaking of media, anyone catch Tapper's cartoon on Sunday morning?
(I have a small liberal tv in my bedroom on mute so when the Father Of All Bombs
drops- I know what hit me.) He should always draw your First Lady with a Pussy-bow.
It's only righteous.

And, Kimmel? The 'stoner living in your attic', we Canucks??
From our vantage point- the good ol' US of A- is the white-trash, hillbilly cousin,
trailer-parked in our drive-way!

Peace.
