Oh My

I read "American Gods" years ago.  It's spectacular.  If they do the series right it will be something to see.

As usual,
Too many Gods and too few Indians.

Lets reverse roles.

The Gods are uneducated, petty, mindless bloodsuckers and all the minion servants of the gods are the powerful, merciful to obey and worship.

Because lets face it, following the words of our present gods of the universe has only offered us good ole mules the punishing stick.

Between this and The Man in the High Castle, it's as though my prayers for some high-end distractions have been answered.

Of course, for maximum suspension of disbelief, the strongest New God of all has got to be He (has to be a he, and white to boot) worshipped by the High Church of Both Siderism - though I don't think Gaiman wrote him into the book.

I also read it years ago and couldn't put it down. I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman's work in general. I hope they don't screw it up.
