Today In Both Sides Don't: Jake Tapper, And Good On Him

During the reign of The Bastard President, the most important and dangerous asset to have in your inventory is a functional memory.

Or as one lowdown, disreputable Obot wrote seven long years ago...

Where Yesterday Has Been Exiled

Memory is Rebellion...

"Das habe ich getan" sagt mein Gedächtnis. Das kann ich nicht getan haben — sagt mein Stolz und bleibt unerbittlich. Endlich — gibt das Gedächtnis nach.
("I did that," says my memory. "I cannot have done that," says my pride, and remains relentless. Eventually, Memory gives up.)
-- F.W. Nietzsche, Jenseits von Gut und Böse [Beyond Good and Evil], Chapter IV (Maxims and Interludes), aphorism 68 (1886)

"Nietzsche never wore an umpire's suit."
-- Bob Dylan, liner notes to Highway 61 Revisited, 1965

It is the GOP base whose memory extends day to almost day. This is why FOX and AM right radio is 24 hours with reruns throughout the night.
The conservative vacant cavity above the neck requires constant refilling. Some have suspected bladder leakage. Fiscal Conservatism dictates it is too expensive to repair the leakage and less tax dollars continue the refilling process.

As when paul Ryan's town hall when he responded to a question on health care and went on about defunding Planned Parenthood because Abortions.
To the hosts credit, raised the hyde Amendment that prohibits tas funding of such. Ryan who so quickly retorted, how controversial Planned Parenthood is and coughed up the conservative hair ball of money is fungible when it comes to Planned Parenthood and abortions.
Interpreting this ancient GOP dialect. It translates,
Money is fungible when I say it is.

Question;
Should the press hire and bring along their own applause crowd to the Trump press pissers ????
So both sides can do it?

Isn't much of what the press does now a bit late to the vomit party?
One thing for sure is, I sense the press as riding the Trump for ratings rigged lotto. No matter the cost to the American people.
