Chuck Todd is a God Damn Hoot

Suddenly Chuckles cares about "the democracy".

C'mon, Chuck, what the hell are you even talking about?    For years your "industry" has been little more than "adult entertainment" and I am one adult who is thoroughly entertained by this.

You're the Stones, standing on stage at Altamont, watching the Hell's Angels you hired beating the shit out of anyone who looks at them funny and wondering "Why are we fightin'?"

You're fightin', Chuck, because your bosses at Comcast have seen fit to hand over priceless teevee time and resources to goons and lick-spittles and yapping halfwits and liars.

I guess you were too busy caring about "the democracy" to notice.

I sent him my response: "How dare they? Ruining the reputation of your industry and hurting democracy is YOUR job."

In a column about Iran-Contra, Dave Barry imagined blood-drunk ghoul Elliott Abrams, in testimony before Congress, giving his title as "Assistant Administrative Associate Sub-secretary of State for Reminding Everybody of a Small Hairless Nocturnal Rodent". I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone here why my man Chuck Todd makes me think of that clause.

Here Chuckie let one of those guys you like to quote explain it all to you:

"As one digs deeper into the national character of the Americans, one sees that they have sought the value of everything in this world only in the answer to this single question: how much money will it bring in?”
Alexis de Tocqueville
Letter to Ernest de Chabrol, June 9, 1831

My response to Chuck was simple: We remember what you said about "barking", so don't try to bullshit us.

His tweet is a bit ungrammatical; I think he may have been soused after reading the comments about his stupid MTP disaster. In any event, the Toddler has never understood what being an actual journalist is.

It's aggravating that worthless shitheads like the Toddler are so handsomely compensated for their lickspittal bullshit.

I fundamentally disagree with the premise of The Washington Post's headline:

"Joe Scarborough’s latest Twitter feud is just what the media doesn’t need"

This is exactly what the media needs: for journalists to start calling each other out if/when their relationship to power gets a bit too cozy.

If Morning Joe's protesting too much indicates anything, it's that a) he's eager to suture his lips back around Trump's colon to boost flagging ratings, and b) his panties are in a big, fat twist for not getting an invite to the soiree in the first place.

Either way, that places him squarely in the "problem with American journalism" bin, the contents of which have yet to be collected and are really starting to stink up the place.
