At The Trumpeachment Hearings...

...Graydon Carter will get a front-row seat, where he will do this, hour after hour after hour...

Remember when the Pig People lost their shit over Obama's constant "disrespect for the Office of the President" such as working in shirtsleeves and not saluting Marine honor guard?

Can't wait for when Trump is having a twitter battle during the first big national crisis he faces. Hopefully it will be a nationally embarrassing enough moment that the media have to drop the charade and admit reality like when Bush just flew over New Orleans.

Driftglass,

Did you see the article in the NYT where Charlie Sykes basically went quasi-full driftglass on himself?

You should google it. It's...something.

It may not be the first big test of the Trump presidency. It is bound to happen.

An American is arrested and jailed in N. Korea and may face life in prison or execution for trumped up conspiracy against Dear Leader.
Can you imagine the derogatory TWEET(s) President smarty Donald will fire out at O dark thirty?
Can Dear Leader KIm even respond in tweet? Out matched, loser, Killing family members is low energy
What is a N. Korean dictator to do in response?

Carter coined the phrase "short-fingered vulgarian" for the greatly missed SPY magazine. To this day, trump does not know short-fingered means "cheap," hence his debate outburst about finger size and other shortcomings. Dumb!

I thought "short fingered meant "grubby", like a child pawing at his food or toys.

After more than two decades, Bloody Bill just quit being editor of The Weekly Standard.

THE ROFLCOPTER HAS LANDED.

I had a subscription to Spy back in the day. It was a time that Trumps name meant no more to me than Koch or DeVos, that is, nothing. But when I read their jabs at this smug vulgar wannabe I began to take interest. I became fascinated by this millionaire's stupidity, in that he made his name synonymous with extremely thin skin and a desperate need for attention. If Il Douche had the ability to ignore Spy, none of this ridicule would have resonated beyond certain neighborhoods in Manhattan. It presages what is coming in foreign and domestic policy. A desperately needy, thin-skinned dilettante that cannot control himself. We, and the world, are so fucked.
