We rabid Cubs fans are ecstatic over what is basically laundry. We know it's not rational, but we're OK with that.

Oh, that's easy:
1) Tax cuts for the rich.
2) Privatize Social Security (just borrow Dubya's plan the way Obama borrowed Romney's for health care).
3) Scalia clones to the Supreme Court.
4) Repeal Obamacare.
5) More war (pick a place).
My cynical prediction: Hillary will offer at least 3 out of 5, but still be continuously reviled, investigated, impeached, re-investigated, re-impeached, obstructed, and labeled an evil Communist Atheist Radical Islamist Weakling Hippie Iron-Fisted Tyrant Who's Gonna Take Our Guns. And why won't she leeeeeaaad?
For bonus crystal-ball points: Hillary will become the first President in U.S. history to be subjected to impeachment proceedings more than once during their time in office (provided the Republicans fail to get enough votes the first time).
On a more positive note: The Washington Post is acknowledging that Republicans are vowing total war against the American Republic, without offering any Both Siderist fig leaves:
"And please, spare me any explanations for this phenomenon that rely on how “divided” Americans are. Are we divided? Sure. But there’s only one party that is so vigorously undermining core democratic institutions in this way. You may not like what Democrats stand for, but they aren’t engaging in widespread official vote suppression, chanting that should their candidate win her opponent should be tossed in jail, promising to prevent any Republican president from filling vacancies on the Supreme Court, suggesting that they’ll try to impeach their opponent as soon as he takes office, cheering when a hostile foreign power hacks into American electronic systems, and trying to use the FBI to win the election.
Only one party is doing all of that. And we should all be very worried about what Republicans will do after November 8, whether they win or lose."
