Today In Both Sides Do It: Ron Fournier, The Sad Clown of Centrism

A random cabdriver told me that every time Ron Fournier uses the phrase "corrupt duopoly", Michael Bloomberg pays him $115.

But a random bag boy at Safeway told me that it was actually Bill Kristol who paid him, and the amount was $75 in "Kristol Bux" which are only redeemable at the ABC news commissary and gift shop.

Still, either way, sweet deal.

I've never liked a duopoly. I always preferred a Bebopoly. Maybe even a Rockopoly.

Well, we should give Trump, champion of breaking up the Duopoly, enough power to make it a monopoly! Trump will certainly be a leader.

If you're looking for a solution... well, you won't actually find it in Phil Sandifer's Neoreaction a Basilisk, but you'll find a different angle on the problem, as well as a reminder that there are people so far to the right that the midpoint between them and Bernie Sanders is still closer to Him, Trump* than to Hillary.

(* That's the one thing that bugs me about Brother Charles' use of the phrase "He, Trump" over at the shebeen. He uses it in objective and genitive cases as well, where it should be "Him, Trump" and "His, Trump's" respectively.)

It would be fun if the podcast had a section entitled "Both Sides Now" and started and ended with a snippet from the Joni Mitchell or Judy Collins song. I can't be the first one to want this.

And perhaps the phenomenon whereby a predominantly Republican or conservative practice is converted into "Both Sides Do It" could be called a "Fournier Transform". Among crystalographers, it would be almost as funny as a "Friedman Unit".

Amazon will supposedly get you 4% on anything you con readers into buying. Though no one has taken the bait on my page yet. Not really the same thing.

A guy that I sat next to on the train the other day told me that.

I was once in a airport public restroom in Minn., In a stall dumping. When some guy in the stall next to me started tapping his toes clear into my stall under the partition.

I told the guy to stay in his stall. He tried to tell me he had a wide stance.

I told him, what America needs desperately right now is a courtesy flush.

But the next day. All over the media, was some Senator repeating himself saying, He has a wide stance.

Not a word about a courtesy flush.............

From right and left and still somehow,
It's my delusion I recall,
I really don't know squat at all."
