This week's Science Fiction University (with Dogfaced Herman) made me think of a 90s comic book series called Global Frequency. They had a pretty good short story about an alien invasion via deep space radio signal; in fact, I think the radio signal *was* the alien life form. It was an interesting but short-lived series that was equal parts X-Files and Twilight Zone about disaster management NGO. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm tempted to see if I can order the old trade paperbacks from anywhere. If I do, would you be interested in borrowing them (via PO box, I imagine)?
I can remember if you are pro- or con- comic books, but I figure there is no harm in asking.

It is obvious that "No Refunds" is a much better motto than "No Labels"....
That first entry from Dog Faced Herman reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbhrz1-4hN4
