Speaking of the Star Trek 'Mirror, Mirror' episode, there is a Star Trek fan film video on You Tube, entitled 'The Fairest of Them All', that picks up where the other left off, following developments on the alternate Enterprise. Without giving away the ending, it seems that Kirk does indeed read his Spocks correctly.
