@francis_terp @joshtpm @TPM @Mr_Electrico No, that's a total fabrication. I don't believe that and never said or implied that.

So, Mr. Greenwald has no idea where anyone would ever have gotten the impression that he had ever in any way said or implied that our two major political parties are so nearly equally dreadful that distinctions between them are so negligible as to be virtually irrelevant.
Ladies and gentlemen, Glenn Greenwald...

Oh, c'mon DG, who are you gonna believe, the twitterings of St. Glenn of Greenwald, our one true savior, or some sort of "video" "evidence"!
That video is a false flag that the NSA, CIA and FBI in coordination with Youtube faked in order to make St. Greenwald look foolish.
Glenn would NEVER openly contradict himself. EVER.
(in case it is needed)/snark
The chum has been thrown into the water!
I can't wait to read about how vociferously D̶r̶i̶f̶t̶g̶l̶a̶s̶s̶ Droneglass supports drone terrorism and the nascent NSA police state for pointing out that St. Glenneth Greenwald plays a little fast and loose with the truth now and again!
"Deny, deny, deny."
In related news, personal friend David "I have a blog, dipshit, and *I* am a big shot in my county political machine" Atkins responded to the astonishing upset of Cantor with a vague 'meh, throwing elections to the most radical of Republicans is the core of my grand strategy for achieving the leftie utopia.' It's all on the twittertwat machine, you can look it up!
The video in no way supports the suggestion that GG has said or implied that "there's not a dime's worth of difference..." GG is arguing for third party activism in the face of tactics waged against third parties. It is the Democrat who votes "the lesser of two evils" who undermines opportunity for political change, according to GG here. GG is illustrating how even a Democrat who finds only the narrowest space for breathing room between the two parties will nevertheless vote out of fear and despondent nihilism. This in no way necessarily represents GG's own opinion.
I don't see the problem with Greenwald arguing for 3rd party votes. What do you find so great about the corporate democrats?
Droneglass liberals will always have a reason to cover for the corporate Dems.
No matter how far right they go, no matter how viciously they screw the working class on behalf of the banksters, there will always be a need to hysterically point out the greater evil in the form of Christopathic Republicans.
A new verse is needed to the song - just for Droneglass

I'm sorry, did anyone hear something just now? It sounded like the dulcet strains of a banjo being played by a grabastic moron wearing socks on his hands and swearing they were other people...
You are dishonest, Driftglass. Glenn is in no way saying what you claim he is saying, that there is no difference between the major parties. He is making a strategic argument, to be sure, but he is not claiming what you say he is.
Apparently his rabid support for the Pauls flies over the previous poster's head.
