He's accused of roiding up. Which makes a bit of sense given his behavior. That stuff is often just as rampant among law enforcement types as it is among top level athletes.
Turns out the reporter he threatened has a sort of uncle... a union and mob boss (these are the same things in most major cities). Not any union, and not any mob. The longshoreman and Gambino type.
Well, I do and it does make sense. I played rugby and hockey, and also worked with a lot of hooah-hooah types in the military. So I've seen it and been around it, more so with the sports honestly, the military takes drug testing really seriously (namely for hunting down pot smokers though).
But yeah it makes sense, but who knows.
However... he wasn't a cop. He was a Marine and an FBI agent. Those organizations do real drug testing, and do really poke around in your life if you get any sort clearance. I know, I was in the Navy and had one. So the odds of pumping roids through both of those organizations and you not getting caught and there be a record of it (that would have obviously been brought up in politics in his run) seems really small to me.
Though I wouldn't put it past him going to a sort of gym after the fact and then starting with the locals. Because at the local level roids and other stuff is vastly more common.

Yeah ... Like Gene ... I heard that "THUG" ... is the new "N" werd ...
It's all fun and games until someone gets thrown off a balcony.
It's what you get when you hybridize a retired Marine with the FBI.

"He's accused of roiding up." Hilarious. I know nothing about the subject and that's the FIRST thing I thought of...
