Let's sing a song.

Well this gets me thinking that the George Washington Bridge was built eighty years ago, and that America really doesn't do stuff like that any more.

Because we can't do stuff like that any more, having thrown away the manufacturing base and the innovation culture that made it all possible. Now we try to balance an economy on toys for cool kidz, and the swapping of junk for pennies to buy hamburgers in the food deserts.

The causes are many and intricate, but at bottom I blame Reagan and everything he stood for.

The senile old goat. I hear they might put up a monument to him in Oklahoma City, which is in fact a surprisingly interesting little town.

Thank you, Mr. Glass.

That's a mental image I totally f*cking needed.

Though I might've gone for Baron Harkonnen if I had your Photoshop skills.

"He who controls the traffic, controls the universe!"

Enjoy your day.

Oh, great! You do realise that if he ever sees your design, he will steal it and actually build that thing?

Thank Driftglass for your new monument, people of New Jersey!

The nightmare flash image of driving through that tunnel elicited a small involuntary Homer-esque scream....
I look forward to the Presidential republican debate clown car when big baby up there starts trying to cram his fat ass into the drivers seat.
Unfortunately, this kind of behavior only endears him to the pig folk.
Hugging the Keynan, that will paradoxically be the thing that brings him down....

@ Anon
Christie lacks the cunning and subtlety of the Baron. He's more of a Beast Rabban.
