Last night Jon Stewart delivered what should be The Very Last Word on who shut the government down and what their tantrum is all about.

Won't be though. Not by 1,000 miles.

Because the Right's Pretty Hate Machine gets paid enormous stacks of money to keep pimping the lie that everything awful that has ever happened was caused by the Kenyan Usurper.

And because our Beltway Courtier press

gets paid enormous stacks of money to keep shoveling the Both Sides fairy tale down everyone else's gullet, pâté goose-style.

And until until at least one of these two, co-dependent media bullshit empires are brought low and forced to bend a knee to reality, our national conversation about what the Hell is wrong with this country will remain stupid on purpose.
