Yet, b/c of jealousy & fealty to power, many in traditional media still refuse to call @GGreenwald a journalist. How utterly revealing (2/2)

I used to read The Atlantic for TNC and the odd quality article while on the METRO going to and from work. I removed that app because it was full of Connor Friesidorff (I'm sure that spelling is wrong) spouting libertarian bullshit non stop. I just didn't want to put up with it, as a result I no longer read several writers I like.
I've removed Salon for a similar reason, Sirota. I like Pareene and S-Wald... but I dislike Walsh and detest Sirota.
I work in IT and take the subway to work so I spend a lot of time in front of a screen. Over time the amount of publications I bother with has shrunk as they insist covering the sections I like with morons and libertarian concern trolls.
As such I now go to Charles Pierce, Krugman, Tiabblog, Booman, Ezra Klein, John Chait, and zing The New Yorker to see if they have anything. I don't pay attention to anything else (well here obviously). I don't pay subscriptions anymore, and I don't give them page hits.
The rest of the time I'm hard at work monitoring the network, patching servers, and fixing computers... who am I kidding I'm playing Battlefield 3, MechWarrior, and Diablo 3 in the server room and getting cranky when people call me!
"I have here in my hand a list of 205—a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as refusing to call Glenn Greenwald a journalist!" "Have you, at long last, no sense of proportion, Dave?"
ferget traditional media and I'll open the alternative bidding with "driftglass;" though I'd bet george will's nostrils *totally wouldn't flare* if he were compared to Greenwald.
Egads, DeeG. If the half the left despises Greenwald (because they turn out to be partisan hacks after all), dontcha think the beltway is craving his death by dronestrike? Oops, I spoke too late.

don't forget the handwringing. Morrissey would be sad if you forgot the handwringing.
Worst part is that Sirota just joined a publication I enjoy and was on the verge of subscribing to.
Re-evaluating that thought.

I grew up in and moved back to after the military Washington DC/NOVA. I live smack on the Potomac river.
I'll take a shot at this one drifty, just for a goof:
David Gregory
Paul Farhi
David Carr
Edward Jay Epstein (iffy but "there")
Steve Rattner
Carl Bernstein
Jeffrey Toobin (on the DL)
You wouldn't be referring to this interaction from Carl Bernstein would you doc? :-)

Yassah Boss!!
I'm still not sure why anyone, anywhere refers to Greenwald as a journalist... Greenwald's agenda-driven propaganda is now bordering on tragic comedy:
