It can sometimes be jarring to be reminded that Monty Python's Flying Circus did so well because the group was both highly intelligent and highly educated.
Anyway, many years ago I saw a signature on a video game news group that I still carry with me:
> I asked my friend: "Is being stupid like being > high all the time?" He thought, and said: > "No. It's like being right all the time."
That one sig file has probably been one of the significant shaping forces of my view of politics and religion, as well as "The American People" and those who discuss this.
