As soon as every man and woman who helped lie us into this catastrophe is dragged from their retirement estate or teevee gig or academic sinecure or Yale Humility class
and put into public stocks on the National mall where we can visit them anytime we wish, day or night, then you can talk to me about how deficits are ruining your pretty, private mountain villa view of the future.

Clearly the Obama/Holder justice department have nothing to do with the prosecution of these people. Clearly. It's not like those prosecutions just might go a long way in starting this shame parade we all want and need to see. But you know, Greenwald.
You've just repeated a mantra of mine, damn near word for word. If there were any justice in this world, Cheney/Bush/Rice/Powell/Wolfowitz and about ten others would be standing before a War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague today.
When people are tortured in our name, we owe it to the world to demand their prosecution.
The fact that we're unwilling to hold them accountable forever cedes any moral high ground our country claims in the future.
