Christopath "Apologizes" For Using His Inside Voice On Camera

So Todd Akin has apologized to all those confused women who still don't seem to understand that the Party of God -- relying on tried-and-true 8th Century science -- holds absolute dominion over their bodies by divine right.

Well you know, if Todd Akin ignores his Party bosses and hangs on, my guess is it'll probably work.

And  why wouldn't it? Why does this surprise anyone?

After all, Akin's atavistic idiocy is really nothing but the flip side of Party Boss Limbaugh's own belligerently infantile grasp of the science behind birth control -- its not the smirking arrogance of these mutants that floors me, but rather their intractable, jaw-dropping "always wrong but never in doubt" pig-ignorance.  That is the GOP's genuine innovation: breeding a generation of cow-dumb meatsticks, who will go right on hating and fearing Negroes, uppity woman and Liberals more than anything else on Earth no matter how depraved and dishonest their leaders and candidates show themselves to be.

And who will go right on love, love, loving them some salty, crocodile huckster tears.

Fucking a right!

They will do it again and again because they can.

I remember laughing my ass off at the quivering lips of the swaggert before the tears started streaming.

The problem is that as dumb as a bag of hammers the Rethug politicians are their voters are even dumber.

These are people who routinely ignore science and technology because it doesn't mesh with the answers that their 12th century, dark ages, the plague is caused by bad humors in the body, bible based thinking mechanism gives them.

It's Bibles, Guns and Booze, and the Guns and Booze are usually at the same time.

At this point, the only thing surprising about this episode is that there are still republicans around who will repudiate him. This isn't fringe group babble, its what these people believe! You were absolutely right in pointing out that his mistake was using his inside voice. This guy is the chair of a science committee in the actual government of the United States in the year 2012!
God help us if they get the White House back....Supreme Court appointments...this country will end up looking like a combination of "A Handmaids Tale" and "The Hunger Games".

Aiken Drum

There was a man lived in the moon,
Lived in the moon, lived in the moon
There was a man lived in the moon,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

Chorus
And he played upon a ladle,
a ladle, a ladle
And he played upon a ladle,
and his name was Aiken Drum.

And his hat was made of good cream cheese,
of good cream cheese, of good cream cheese,
And his hat was made of good cream cheese
And his name was Aiken Drum.

Chorus

And his coat was made of good roast beef,
of good roast beef, of good roast beef,
And his coat was made of good roast beef,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

Chorus

And his buttons made of penny loaves,
of penny loaves, of penny loaves,
And his buttons made of penny loaves,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

Chorus

And his breeches made of haggis bags
of haggis bags, of haggis bags
And his breeches made of haggis bags,
and his name was Aiken Drum.

I am not sure why I thought of this but I think it has comedic potential as "Akin Dumb."

I can't help but notice the steep incline of the slope we seem to be sliding down, the angle of which suggests that society is a few iron anchors and rocket boosters short to arrest and reverse course.

Or to paraphrase from "Apocalypse Now," the shit's building so high in America that you need a fucking helicopter to stay above it.

We all know from watching tv that rapists are clever, They always wear condoms when they rape. Thus all women who get knocked up are really sluts who used up there birth control too fast and couldn’t keep those legs shut. They clearly wanted it and now they want to shift there responsibilities onto the income tax paying minority and force them to carry the cost.

What annoys me more than how obviously wrong this drivel is, is that it’s been clear for years how flawed there "Right to Life" mantra is. For years the mainstream media has been giving them a pass and has allowed this wound to fester. This sickness should have been confronted a long time ago and lambasted with the contempt for logic/fact/reality it deserves.
