Andrew Sullivan Misses the Obvious

With Team Romney's ham-fisted plutocratic cluelessness to bang on like a drum, Mr. Sullivan has been on good behavior today, but he really missses the obvious here:

Archeologists have discovered two 3,000-year-old "bog bodies" made from the remains of six different people. Scientists are scratching their heads:
A cynical theory, study author [Terry] Brown said, assumes that the Bronze Age people of Cladh Hallan were just eminently practical: "Maybe the head dropped off and they got another head to stick on." Another possibility is that the merging was deliberate, to create a symbolic ancestor that literally embodied traits from multiple lineages.
Screw burial practicality or some silly notion of creating "symbolic" ancestors.

What obviously happened here was that some Bronze Age Thomas Friedman was attempting to create the world's first Centrist.

can we dissect david brooks to see how many different people's bones he contains?

You never cease to put a smile on my face! Thanks!

That would explain why the bog body has one actual right arm, along with a second right arm, pretending to be a left.

Haha! Speaking of merging, i was noticing how the evil villain in the Batman movie coming out later this month is named Bane. Perhaps a nicely done photoshop masterpiece would be appropriate putting the Bane mask on the Bain candidate? Not that you need help with ideas since you're a creative genius, but just wanted to throw that out there...

Aw, leave it to the other evil genius, Tbogg, but looks like someone's already done a Bain-Bane photo,

...although I don't see why the mask can't be put on Rmoney hisself.
