Given that history has now shown in repeated and excruciating detail that the Left has been right about the Right all along
I'm not sure that having a "heart sink" over President Obama's recent, slight, leftward drift is "stupid" so much as it is so hilariously delusional as to border on some form of exotic Tory mental illness.

Okay, so why has he never gotten any R votes ever, on anything that mattered, even when he was bending over backward to lean as far Right as possible?
