I really should start watching this show.
It's treasonous for an American to criticize Israel in any way.
Jeezus won't come back until Israel and 'murrica fight a war with the rest of the world together.
Years ago I actually went on a date with an Israeli American ex-rabbi. He said quite bluntly that most of the U.S.'s support for Israel is because of Armageddon prophecy in the Book fo Revelations ("Apocalypse of John the Lesser" for literary snobs). Who controls Israel will control the military might at the End of Days. Therefore, we maintain enough financial support that when Jesus plops out of the sky there, we will be the military superpower of the world.
I asked, and he said that was pretty much common opinion of most Israelis. He also agreed that it's pretty stupid, but Israel is happy to take the money.

Criticism of Likud != Anti-seimitism.
I guess I could never hold high public office. The very fact that I was told that I shouldn't put the map up would guarantee that it went up. But you are right, I'm sure variations on this theme happen every day in DC. Sad, but oh so true.
