Glad to hear that someone out there surfing the NOT A BIG TRUCK gave you an exit-strategy for dealing with your outrage fatigue. Until somebody opens up FireBoboBrooksNow.org, what you do remains pretty unique as well as important. Don't let the bastardry wear you down, dg.
The sergeant nails it: in politics as in economics, no paybacks for evil deeds is a license to do even worse next time - & those granted such a license never fail to use it to the max, the future be damned. Now, take a moment to contemplate just how evil the last GOP administration was ("Making wounded GIs pay for their damaged - & intentionally cheap-ass - body-armor? Poisoning & electrocuting them on the public dime? Snookering old folks into McSocialSecurity Inc.? Far out, man!") & imagine what kind of epic hijinx the NEXT demonic circus of suit-&-tie gangsters will pull.
The party of personal responsibility can't include the "- for thee, not for me" proviso; optics & The Holy Narrative must never be sullied with mere facts or Baby Ayn Rand will cry!
Given the lack of golden opportunity for "OBAMA IS TEH SUXX0RZ" venting, I'm guessing THIS post won't be getting 50 or more comments - & that's a shame. One of the better proudly left-leaning podcasts around needs to get the exposure it deserves "now more than ever," as Tricky Dick once said ... hmm ... maybe you should rag on Glennzilla some more next time & see if his fan-club swarms it?

Really great show BG & DG! I can so relate when it comes to the outrage, outrage fatigue... and OUTRAGE at trying to argue with diehard wingnuts who do not even know the simplest of facts about their own leaders!!!!!!
Thank you for sharing the tragic letter from Sargent X. He speaks for so many of the so few who are giving so much more than the rest (especially so much more than the cowardly Bobos and Mustaches). I am with him, and you. There must be some accountability and I am certain that karma will have its way with those that so richly deserve punishment.
Please keep it up! And keep on slaying that turkey Bobo. Maybe from now on we DG followers should just bombard Bobo's comment sections with DG's (almost-daily) skewerings? They can't keep every single comment out, can they?
