No, I took a bunch of pictures for him a year ago, posted him here, he didn't say shit. I posted a follow up, he didn't respond to that either.
Your line about Bob Dornan reminded me of an old Far Side cartoon-
“Remember me, Mr. Scheider? Kenya. 1947. If you’re going to shoot at an elephant, Mr. Schneider, you better be prepared to finish the job.”
Seems like there is a metaphorical trench-coated elephant in the future alleys of so many ambitious republicans. Or maybe it suggests that Republicans, like their elephant mascots, actually can remember further back than Jan 20, 2009- but only regarding personal affronts.
