Bill Murray delivers the Iowa weather report for Mitt Romney.
At first, I couldn't quite identify the bell Mitt Romney's painful, "Will you love me now!" pantomime was ringing. Then my subconscious sent up Bill Murray's performance in the 2nd act of of "Groundhog Day" from the wine cellar.
SPOILER ALERT
Trapped in an apparently infinite temporal loop, Murray's doomed, smarmy "Phil" uses his new-found one-day immortality to methodically research the personal life of the woman he wants to seduce, and learns to imitate the traits she says she admires.
And then grows more and more frantic as his desperate, hollow, sweaty mimicry gets him slapped.
Over
and over
and over again.
"I killed myself so many times I don't even exist anymore." -- Phil
