Like you I've heard what seemed like the last sound I thought I'd ever hear. I hear it again more often than before.
I don't think I want to see how this adventure ends. I'm old and tired and have recently run out of really giving a crap.
The only question is where to leave my bones so that they don't get in anyone's way.
DG, you are an artist in what you do. I've always appreciated your wit and insight, tho seldom commented. Still, know that you are appreciated.
