Sometimes You Get The Bus...
Part of the reason this clip suddenly hove itself up from my memory undoubtedly comes from the fact that the final season of "Lost" is upon us. And while "Lost" is not as, oh, let's say "coherent" as it used to be -- and not as week-in/week-out brilliant as "The West Wing" or "Battlestar Galactica" ever were -- it is what we have, and it is much better than most.
But I must confess that another, larger part is probably the sheer, grim, in-joke glee of someone slogging through the smelly, economic backwash left behind by the Republican Great Recession, watching a clip of a character named "Edmund Burke" being crushed under the wheels of public transit.

BSG was such a disappointment.
I'm hoping Caprica will be better.
"Big Love" man. Another great HBO series.
